Please join us on Friday from 9am to 3pm in the Presidential room of the Howard Johnson and on Saturday from 7pm to 9pm in room 202 of the Convention Center for dynamic, interactive workshops where you will learn about protective accompaniment of Colombian communities that have taken a stance for peace and nonviolent resistance; about counter-recruitment in the U.S. and the conscientious objector movement in Colombia. See how you can get involved in advocating for a complete cut in military aid to Colombia, stopping America’s Other War, the worst human rights crisis in the Western Hemisphere.The Fellowship of Reconciliation's Colombia program and Youth & Militarism program will lead this training event.

On Sunday, FOR's own Susana Pimiento-Chamorro will take the stage to speak about the impact of US Military aid to Colombia during the Festival of Resistance.
