Crop circles for peace
Check out this beautiful photo I just got from a supporter on our e-mail list!
Hi Ruby and all the team at FOR
We have completed a Corn Maze at Drury in Auckland New Zealand. This year’s theme is Peace on Earth.
It was designed by Jarad Bryant, a local Grey Lynn artist..
The maze covers an area of approximately 3 hectares. The Dove measures 215 metres in length and is carrying a native NZ Pohutukawa flower in it’s mouth.
The stars in the maze have been planted with red and white wild flowers like the stars on the New Zealand flag and the big circle by the word earth has been planted with blue and white wild flowers to represent a stylized version of first photo of earth taken by the Apollo 17. These should start blooming in about 3 weeks time just as the corn begins to turn brown.
The attached aerial photo was taken from a plane at 500 metres on Thursday 20th March.
Hope you like it.
Keep up the good work at FOR. I enjoy reading your news letter each time at comes.
Regards
Ash Commerer
